The truth about "uptime"
The "up ?? days" in the table below is the length of time since the last server reboot. It's often deceiving when hosts publish the results of an 'uptime' command in place of real uptime stats (3rd party) because the machine could be unplugged from the network or have no services such as Apache running and not need a reboot for years. Alertra, on the other hand, measures network and Apache uptime and so is a much more reliable indicator of the health of the web hosting company's network and server stability.
